Welcome Home

Last night Lindsay (my brother's girlfriend), my mom, and I picked Matt up from the airport. He's finally home and I am ready to send him back to South Korea! ha Just kidding But since he's home he decided he would wake me up for school every morning. His waking me up consists of sitting on me and tapping on my forehead for 15 mins. Just what I want to wake up to, a huge headache and a red mark on my forehead. But now that he's home that means good food in the Dunithan house hold. Since it's been just the three of us my mom doesn't really make the big meals like she used to. The family all gets together for dinner now and we eat those bigs meals! I love it when we all have dinner together.. its just like when I was little.

Some things have changed though... Matt has a new girlfriend and they are pretty serious. I absolutly love her too. They are perfect for each other and I can see them getting married. But as the only little sister I'm getting a little jelous. I'm not the only girl in my brother's life anymore. Me and Matt always used to spend alot of time together and I've been replaced. I knew this day would come but I didn't think it would effect me the way it has. Alot of things are changing and its just overwhelming. But I'm very happy that Matt has found Lindsay.

I call her "Mom"

My MOTHER, Nancy Ann Dunithan, is the greatest MOM in the world. She's been there for me through everything and has never given up on me... I figured she deserved to be blogged about. I love the way my MOM raised me and I wouldn't change it for the world. Even though I was a trouble child back in my middle school days my MOM never stopped praying for me to get me through that stage of life. She tried to lead me back on track but knew it was out of her hands so she went to the Lord and he took care of it. My MOTHER has been a wonderful example to follow in my life. I'm lucky to have a mom who raised me to follow Jesus Christ. No matter what I wanted to do or be my MOM has been and will always be behind me 100% I honestly could not ask for a better MOM. Although she does drive me crazy sometimes with all her questions I'm lucky to have a MOM who cares enough to ask what's going on in my life and gives me advice even when I don't want to hear it. My MOM doesn't know this but I'm always listening to her even when she thinks I'm not and use it in everyday life. I look up to my MOTHER so much and hope that I will be a MOM exactly like her when I have children of my own.
We went to a Martina McBride concert together and it was alot of fun. My MOM is my best friend and I love that about her. Most of my friend envy the relationship my MOM and I have.
My MOM is a middle child. Three sister and one brother. My grandMOTHER is in the middle in the front row and she's a wonderful grandMOTHER as well! I love her to death.
BAD PICTURE... but a great memory! We travel to Chi-town alot to go shopping.. this was on of our many trips. One year we went with two of my friends and their MOTHERS who were my mom's friends and we had down it several years in a row. Well we were leaving and our train was late no big deal right? Not so much... little did we know that our train was stopped in Gary, IN at gun point. Literally a man was standing on the track pointing a gun at the train.. if i was the conductor i probably would have ran him over but that's just me. So we waited on the concrete boarding place for HOURS it was horrible we finally decided to get a hotel and stayed the night. We have so many memories from that single trip its unforgetable.
I've had so many other people in my life that have been like second Mom's and I love them all to death, but I wouldn't give up MY MOM for the world.

Happy Mothers Day to all you mom's out there!
