Nineteen!

Hard to believe that I have been on this earth 19 years. It feels like just yesterday I was playing with my baby dolls... I'm getting so old! HA! Just playing :) On the other hand I did have a wonderful birthday even though I wasn't at home. My birthday was acutally on the 2nd but I didn't want to blog on my brithday I had to much to celebrate!


I woke up and the room was all decorated. With Happy Birthday posters everywhere and streamers. The night before Kate and I both slept on the futon out of pure laziness. So we feel asleep watching a movie and I woke up at 1:00 to shut the t.v. because it was annoying listening to the main screen over and over again. When I shut that off little did I know Kate was standing right above me hanging streamers. Not only that but I cut off her only source of light and the sound was blocking any sounds she could have made. I was oblivious.

I was woken up by many text messages one particually are 6:00a.m. by my AUNT ANGIE who's birthday was also the same day as mine. Then my dad called then my mom so I figured I should get up cuz it was never going to end. I wake up and I had brought back my birthday brownies from home. Since I wasn't at home on my brithday when I went on break we celebrated my birthday then... anywho... We only put two candle in the brownie cuz they were hard on top so we couldn't get the candles in there it was to much work.
I made my wish and blew out my candles.... and my birthday wish did come true. It was to have a great birthday even though I wasn't at home to celebrate it. Kate got me a few gifts.. like the shirt I am wearing in this picture.

She also made this collage for me of all the good times I've had 1st semester and some in the summer. It was really cute. After that I go to check my email and I had two wonderful suprises! 1. My one and only class for that day was cancelled due to an illness of my professor. Shucks! 2. The TIS bookstore had a present for me. So I went to pick it up and it was a free t-shirt and 20% off all my purchases for the day. Look at that. I was excited!

So then Kate and I went to get our nails done. The last place we went did a horrible job so we drove around and found a great place. I LOVE to get my nails done and the lady was so nice and kept complimenting me by the end of the manicure my head almost didn't fit out the door. I also got my eyebrows waxed. Then I ate SUBWAY for lunch. Yum Yum!

After all of that fun with the Kate I made my way over to Steve's house. I get there and he gives me my gift and it was this really pretty jewlery box.

When you open it up it sings this really pretty melody. I taped a picture of him and I on the inside. Inside I also put the necklace that my parents got me which I LOVE! I tried to take a picture of it but it didn't turn out very well. It's a single pearl necklace with a tiny little diamond above it. Its really pretty.

Last but not least... Baily (Scot's dog, steve's roomate) got me a gift. Lady and the Tramp! A great doggie chick flick we could watch together how thoughtful. Thanks Baily!

Steve then took me out to dinner. We went to Flat Top Grill. It was really good they made stirfry for you. You pick what you want and put it in a bowl and they'll cook it for you. Then we went to see a movie, Role Models.. it was pretty funny.

All in all it was a great day!!
