I'm Back!
Hello Blog Readers!
I want to apologize for my lack of blogging for the past several months. I have been so incredibly busy! I wanted to start up as soon as I got back to school but that obviously didn't happen until now.. a month into school. I was trying to finish up online classes from the summer that over lapped into the school year. Let's just say never again will I do that HA!
So I must dedicate my motivation for starting to blog again to someone.. I actually have never met her nor do I know her name, but my roommates Taylor has this friend Emily who's sister reads my blog. She told Emily to tell Taylor to tell me to start blogging again because she likes to read my blog and that made me feel pretty good, so I had to start it up again on behalf of what I like to call "my fan" hah :)
So I want to welcome you all to apartment 405!
Here is our dinning room table that I score for $25 down the road from my house. It is a great table we all love it seeing as how we didn't have a table last year. Thanks to my mom reupholstering the seats of the chair and my dad redoing the back of the chair. I don't know the technical term for that but it looked cool when he was doing it.

We do love our table BUT it's totally not level. Our living room/dinning room floor caves in. I'm convinced one day we are all gonna fall through the floor but I'm just glad we're on the top floor so I won't be squished underneath. Sorry apartment 305 :/ Part of me wonders what their ceiling looks like..
I like that you can see our table from our kitchen. This way we can have a conversation with whoever is cooking or doing homework at the table.
From previous blogs we all know that I was really excited about the garbage disposal and yes it's everything I wanted and more. You can just clear your plate right in the sink it's amazing! I also like the rest of our kitchen we have lots of cabinet space plenty of counter space. Our dishwasher is just a tiny thing though but I'm still happy we have one.
As for our washer and dryer... well it cleans my clothes well it's just in a tiny room where you can't even open the dryer door all the way. It's a tight fit but gets the job done.
Now to my favorite room in our apartment... MY ROOM! :) Same stuff as last year and its a lot smaller but it's still my space. As you can see the majority of my room is bed and I had to downsize my desk from last year. The other piece is in our dinning room you can see in an above picture.
This is where I hang my purses, scarves, and jackets... when the light are off and I'm going to bed I always get scared because in the dark this innocent pile of accessories looks like a scary man with a sheet over his head... I know I'm 20 years old and I'm still scared of the dark.
This was my big purchase of the year from my summer working at the Frog. I bought a 32" plasma t.v. and this nice little t.v. stand to go under it. And yes I put it all together all by myself.
Okay now you've seen my new place and I'm starting to have more time to do fun things like blog so I promise to keep up with it. Trust me I have lots to blog about I even made a list of things to blog about when I couldn't blog.. I've missed it.

Spring Break 2010
Spring Break was defiantly different than last year but we still had a lot of fun! There was a bunch more drama this year compared to last year when there was none. But you learn to handle those situations and move along.. which is exactly what I did. I didn't let it ruin my vacation.
Here are the girls I went with. I didn't really know them that well except Taylor but we had a lot of fun.
Some things I learned on spring break....
1. Mac N Cheese + potato chips= really yummy
2. Nothing in life is free... there is always a catch.
3. Always melt butter BEFORE you put it on your pancakes it soaks in so much better. There was an outreach group that put on a free pancake breakfast each morning for everyone on spring break and they melted the butter in a big pot and scooped it on your pancakes for you... on boy it was yummy. I asked for two scoops... on my way to high cholesterol and I love it!
4. How much of a ditz I am...
So I thought I lost my phone somewhere in out hotel room so I borrowed one of the girls' phones to call mine... Some guy answered my phone. I was like oh my how'd you get my phone I need my phone back I must had left it somewhere can I meet you somewhere to get my phone back I really need it back. The guy was like no this is my phone my name is Ryan my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. I tell the guy oh Ryan that's my brother's name... he goes "JENI?" I'm thinking how does he know my name.. then it hit me. I'm the dumbest person in the world. Instead of calling my phone number I dialed my brother's who's number is one digit different than mine. I legit thought that some guy had my phone. Probably the funniest thing that has ever happened to me!
5. Who your true friends really are
Like I said earlier there was a lot of drama on the trip but we still made the most of it and I wouldn't have had a better time without Taylor there. She is truly a great friend. We always have the most fun together.
I'm already saving for Panama City Beach Spring Break 2011.

Valentines Day
For Valentines Day since I didn't have a Valentine I tried to make the most of my day... I was very productive around the house even cleaned my closet out! I did some homework and then decided I would treat myself to a LARGE starbucks caramel machiato (not sure on the spelling) and boy was it yummy.
I decided to rent a movie and I didn't really want a love sappy one because that just makes me alone on V-day even more depressing... so I rented a movie called "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas" It was about the holocaust and after watching it I realized I have no reason to sit here and be sad about Valentines Day. It was one of the saddest movies I've ever watched. I didn't cry or anything but I was shocked beyond belief. I watch it with two of my girl friends and after the movie we all just sat there and watched the credits roll by with nothing to say to each other. We just couldn't end our day on that note so we had to watch another movie... Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
We overloaded on chocolate, popcorn, cookies, and candy. Way too much!
My favorite part about Valentines Day is my grandma's cookies. We get them ever year and she sent me a whole bunch of them! BEST COOKIES EVER!
Hope everyone had a great V-Day!

Snowy Snow Snow!
Say hello to Mr. Snowman! Isn't he cool? Down here in Muncie we got lots and lots of snow. There are 4 foot drifts and it was so fun to play in! Built snowmen, had no ball fights, and attempted to make a snow fort.

The only bad thing about this snow is my car has been pushed out of the snow five times. It doesn't do well in snow. BUT I met a lot of new people like 3 football players that live down the road from me ;) haha Gotta work my charm to get help around here! Helpless little Jeni can't do it all by herself!

The Joys of College.
Last weekend my roommates all left me alone. My dear friend Chelsie's roommate left her too. My friend John, his roommates left him too... and Cameron yup you guess it.. all alone. We all tried to make the weekend fun without everyone. Friday night John threw a party and Chelsie and I went over not knowing anyone but John and danced the whole time! So we found this tv thing on Demand on how to pop your booty. Oh my it was the funniest thing ever. Just imagine a bunch of 18-22 year old kids boys and girls at a party doing the booty pop. HILARIOUS!!!

Yay! NO SLING! I had just gotten it off so I was excited to go out!
The next day I stayed over at Chelsie's house and we ordered pizza watched Sex and the City drank a little wine and yes, built a tent in her living room and camped out in it. We had a few friends stop by and visit us but mostly we had a good ol time by ourselves.
The weekend was actually pretty fun with the majority of our friends gone!

Back to the Blog
I know it's been awhile since I've blogged and I'm sure I have lots to blog about I'm just not sure where to begin...
The Holidays
Christmas break was a really nice get away... I got away from school, studying, people, and frozen foods. My favorite part about the holidays is all the yummy food and of course visiting with my family and friends.
Here is our traditional family picture by the tree we have one every year, but this year it got a little bigger with Lindsey and CJ and of course my lovely sling.
I didn't do a whole lot over break but still had fun. I went to a colts game with a friend from school. Played some board games with Kaase, Maddie Miller, and Brad Granger and went out to lunch with Kindra and Jordy. And played rock band with my brother and sister-in-law and some of their friends.
I went out with Kristen and some other girls on new years and we had a blast!
Then had the traditional new years dinner... beef fondu and my mom made a cheese one this year that was really delicious.
Other than that it was all family fun! :) By the end of break I was definitely ready to go back though. Which is a good thing... if I'm ready to go back that means I'm motivated to start classes again. The day I went back I think I called my mom at least 5 times to tell her little things so I don't know if I was 100% ready to go back.
Surgery
my surgery went really well. There weren't any complications and when I woke up I was ready to get the heck out of there. I even stayed awake the whole ride home and talk to my mom. I wasn't in any pain really. My surgeon did however, tell me that my labrum wasn't torn like we thought, which is a good thing, but he said that the ligaments that hold the labrum in place were really loose and this could have been from it not healing properly the last time OR my last surgeon didn't tighten them up... I gonna go with option #2.
The whole thing hasn't been too bad and only one week left and I get my lovely sling off... I'm gonna miss it just look at how good I look in it...
I know I know... I should be America's next top model!
New Semester
This semester is ALOT easier and less stressful than last semester. I am taking 12 credit hours and two of those 4 classes are online which is good for me. I like to work at my own pace. My favorite class is Nutrition. Ever since I got back to school I have been eating a lot healthier, not that I was a bad eater before. My class is really interesting to me because I enjoy learning about that stuff which is a good thing... easy A I'm thinking. I'm off to a really good start in all my classes! I'm shooting for all A's this semester we'll see how I do.
The two classes I do have on campus are in the evening so it's really nice. I don't get to sleep in though because I work but that's okay it motivates me to get out of bed and actually study when I have down time instead of sleeping my day away. But most all my roommates have 8am classes so they got to bed early now :( I'm not used to staying up late every let alone by myself... guess I'll adjust.
I promise to not wait so long before my next blog!
